Suspended Joist Construction

Generally suspended joist construction systems require higher flow temperatures of between 55 – 60 degrees.

This underfloor heating system benefits from quicker heat up times and quicker cooling. It’s possible to replace aluminium heat spreader plates with a biscuit screed mix which stores more heat for longer periods, thus acting like a solid floor.

NEO-Foil utilises high compressive strength expanded polystyrene, with a highly efficient aluminium foil covering. This acts as a heat conducting surface to transfer the heat from the pipes to the finished floor above. NEO-Foil is available in 30mm.
